Remember to avoid engaging in contact sports or any sport where there's an accidental risk of your nose getting hit, such as racquet sports or ball activities, for a period of six to eight weeks post-operation. After that, your nose should be healed sufficiently, allowing you to resume life as usual.

When someone wants to reshape their nose for personal reasons, it's referred to as cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery, commonly known as a nose job. This type of surgery is classified as elective, which means that your health insurance might not cover the expenses related to the procedure or any follow-up appointments. However, if you're undergoing reconstructive surgery that is covered by insurance or the National Health Service, it might be possible to have the cosmetic rhinoplasty done at the same time, but you'll need a recommendation from your GP.
